same side of moon every night
I am sure that each one of you loves to enjoy the scenic beauty of sun set. AT night, when the moon is right above us have you ever imagined why, we always see the same side of moon. There are very few people who are aware of this fact that we have only seen one face of moon from our naked eyes in the dark. Do you why, this happens. To answer this question we have to consider some facts. 1. earth is rotating around its own axis, which results in the cycle of day and night. The period of one complete rotation of earth is 24 hours. 2. now, for moon we need to consider both the revolution and rotation. Here, moon takes one day that is 24 hours to complete it one COMPLETE REVOLUTION. Therefore, when night comes the earth has taken one complete ROTATION around its axis and the moon has completed its ONE REVOLUTION. h
